Present in the box were The Laird, James Hawley, Martin Carey, Hugh Colville, Ian Hall, Adam Beardon, Jonathan Harradine, Tim Stoyle, Mark Osborne and Simon Barratt.

West Ham played well.

Goals from Andy Carroll and Joe Cole.

A Bobby Moore tribute. 20 years since he passed away.

Then Bale struck.

That was annoying but he was impressive.
However, we also had Alan Taylor - 1975 West Ham FA Cup hero in the box!

There were also a couple of Hammerettes in the room but it happened whilst Alan was there - bad timing...

It was a rare evening of luxury at the Academy.
